Spring has finally arrived, daylight savings time `n all. And for most of us girls . . . that also means time to spruce up the wardrobe. So in the spirit of "out with the old and in with the new" . . . Suzanne Pepper unveiled her Spring 2000 TropiCouture resortwear collection.
The location for the event was Coconut Beach Resort, a beautiful time share property nestled between the Casa Marina and Louie's Backyard. With the turquois Atlantic ocean for a backdrop, relaxing brazilian music provided by Pat Lawler and Joe Pepper . . . champagne flowing and sun shining, the show began.
Resort and specially invited local guests were guided turough the collection by MC Audrey Samz-Liggins. Suzanne's lovely models presented new trends for the season such as light airy dresses in bright floral or Polinesian prints, tissue silk skirts with vintage silk scarf halter tops, vintage print loose fit tropical shirts for guys, and even some unusual ways to go for evening.
The whole collection was topped off and complimented by gorgeous hats from Key West Madhatter.
TropiCouture's tearoom style fashion shows are a fun and relaxing way to shop and have been a successful formula for this local designer.
