Holiday Parade Saturday At 7

The City of Key West's Annual Holiday Parade is set to kick off at 7 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 4, at the corner of Truman Avenue and White Street. The City-sponsored parade will march west on Truman, then north on Duval Street and end at Duval and Eaton.

Almost 60 groups have signed up, including a float by Imagination Station called "Alvin's Hula Hoop", a float from the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority featuring toyland with a big jack-in-the-box and a rocking horse, and a winding procession of decorated Miata sports cars. Look for the bouncing little girls from Island Gymnastics, the Key West High School Band and, of course, Santa Claus at the end of the parade.
